Ashley Newman Photography | The Woodlands, TX
2018 has been a whirlwind for me and while it seems kind of cliche to write a post just to say “thank you”, it really is a must for me. For my heart.
You, see, there would be no ANP if I would not have had the opportunities I’ve had to work with every family represented here. Each year, I see familiar faces and meet new ones and I’m still in humbled awe every time. This is my job and a legacy I hope to preserve and leave behind
When I first started my business all those years ago, it was really an accident. I just liked taking pictures and I couldn’t imagine missing a moment with my kids. Pretty soon, I was running a business (thanks to all the friends and family who continued to encourage me to chase my dreams!).
Last December I found myself back in Texas, unsure of what the future held. Would anyone hire me or even find me online and like my work? (Funny thing about being an artist…it’s so personal and vulnerable. It’s hard to put yourself out there!). Here I am, one year later (I can’t barely believe it!!) and more settled than ever.
With a lot of travel under my belt- and more places to explore for 2019, I’m excited about what the future holds. To all the families who trusted me with their story- THANK YOU. It means more to me than you can possibly imagine. I adore each of you and feel connected to you in some way. Each heartbeat is special and unique- I’m proud of the time we’ve gotten.
2019 is already filling up with more families and stories begging to be shared. Is this real life?
A humbled thank you and a happy new year!!
Let's be friends! Grab a cup of coffee with me and set up your family session for 2019!
