I have big news, and I’m still a little giddy about it. The Houston Chronicle just named Ashley Newman Photography a finalist for Best of Houston Family Photographer. Real Houston moms voted for this. You voted for this. And I’m not about to be quiet about it.

Real Votes, Real Families

Anyone can put “top-rated” on their website. This is different. The Houston Chronicle runs this contest every year. Thousands of Houstonians cast real votes for their favorite local businesses, across dozens of categories. Landing on the finalist list for Family Photographer means something simple: real families raised their hands. They said this studio is worth talking about. Why I’m Telling You This

I didn’t get here alone. Every mom who trusted me with her wild toddler, her newborn, her whole loud beautiful crew — you’re the reason I’m writing this post. You booked a session. You showed up. Then you told your friends. That’s how a small photography business earns a spot next to some of the biggest names in Houston.
