A lazy rainy day calls for productivity like you have never seen! Including announcing this precious family’s exciting news!!! Morgan came into our lives through my oldest son, and I think we have decided to keep her. She has a gentle, genuine soul- when I met her, I knew she was one of my people. I love how our son brings so many incredible people into our lives. I can barely stand how excited I am for their family- I nearly cried when she told me the news!
So of course, we had to get out an photograph this incredible couple.
Joining me on the blog today is my dear friend Monica with Indigo Hair Salon. She is sharing her tips for incredible hair, and of course is someone I ALWAYS recommend you get in with 😉 She’s nice as heck, and does all my hair and makeup for my person photos 😉

Monica’s Professional Hair Tips

  • Get a trim/color touch ups at least a week before photos.

  • If you will be wearing it up, keep it loose and soft around the face

  • Braided looks are great for children

  • Wash and round brush hair out the night before

  • When curling hair, make sure to use a setting spray in between sections then spray final look with finishing spray

  • Curl hair tighter so they have time to loosen up before the shoot

  • Flower crowns are a fun accessory

  • KEEP IT SIMPLE!
