Precious Cora, you are here and you are everything you sweet parents had hoped. With eyes already wide and full of wonder, you calmly listen to the voices around you and settle into mama’s arms. I love everything about coming to the hospital to visit families and I love everything about this darling babe.

This family has really reached out and touched my heart since. It’s been amazing to get to know genuine people and helped make our transition here that much easier. They were blessed with their second child, and I wanted to preview their gallery this week because I just can’t keep it in any more!

Looking to book your Fresh 48? Here are some tips to help you prepare!

  • It is a lifestyle session, so try to relax! I’m come to document those first few hours while you take in all things new baby.

  • Wear neutral colors. You don’t have to fuss over your hair and make up, but if you do, keep it simple. Lot’s of moms go with a nursing tank and robe. Bonus! You get to be comfy!

  • Pack something special you want baby to wear. Many parents bring a special hat, or swaddle to wrap their baby in. And most of the time we focus on things like the hospital blankets and tags- all the things that encompass the birthing experience.

  • Include siblings! Or even grandparents!

  • Keep it simple 🙂
