It can be so hard to plan what to wear for maternity pictures. You have your photographer, you’re waiting for your baby, but how do you ring it all together? Check out some of my favorite online shops for bump friendly and nursing friendly clothes that will make you look amazing at your photo session.

It can be so hard to plan family pictures, especially when you are pregnant and just excited to meet your new little miracle. Whether you are photographing your whole family or this is your first baby, I always recommend focusing on YOU first, mama. I want you to feel like the amazing goddess you are!
So find something that makes you feel incredible first, and then work from there.
I like to schedule maternity photos for around 30 weeks, that way you have a good bump, you are still comfortable and you can enjoy the photos before your baby arrives. 🙂

So now that you are ready to start shopping, here are my favorite places to look for cute outfits for your maternity session!

Price points: $-cheap, $$-average, $$$-high, $$$$-expensive

  • Mama Bump Rentals $$$ Prefer to rent instead of own? No worries! They have got you covered with a variety of incredible, photogenic gowns.

  • Maternity Photo Props $$ I think this is a super reasonable site with dresses similar to Sew Trendy. Under their lace gowns, they have some incredible boho dresses that I have never seen before! Think Reclamation without the price tag and a little more delicate!

  • Reclamation Dresses $$$$ These are to die for! Literally one of a kind, hand made, incredible lace gowns that are the total wow factor.

  • FillyBoo Maternity $$$-$$$$ For the boho mama

  • Pink Blush Maternity $$ Simple and sweet dresses that can be worn every day.

  • Wren & Ivory $$ Their bump friendly collection can be worn after your baby is born. They have a variety of hip dresses and more casual looks. Plus nursing friendly!

  • Amazon $ An inexpensive way to go! Just search “maternity gowns” and make sure to read the reviews! I have had a lot of great luck with Amazon!
